Overview

Sheets and blocks of PVA sponge (porous body) with high porosity and fine continuous pore structure that can absorb and hold a large amount of liquid.

Characteristics

It has a high affinity with various liquids such as ink and oil, and is a porous resin with a continuous pore structure with a high porosity. (It is not suitable for water absorption applications as it has almost no hydrophilicity.)

As it is a porous resin with moderate hardness that is easy to process, it has excellent processability and can be applied to various shapes.

As it is a resin of monolithic structure, there is no outbreak of fluff and fiber waste like fiber material.

Liquid absorption: impregnation: printers, stationery, office supplies (ink), diagnostic agents (medicine), motors (oil)

Characteristics

Sheet-shaped and block-shaped PVA sponges.

It is hard when dry and softens when moistened. When it contains water, it has a soft texture, flexibility and elasticity.

Applications

Cygnus Roller

Overview

A PVA sponge roller that has been used in various industries for many years and is highly rated for its outstanding water absorption and dehydration performance.

With a simple mechanism that presses against the workpiece and rotates, continuous water absorption is possible, and less water remains, and the amount of heat generated during drying can also be reduced.

In some cases, the drying process can be omitted.

Characteristics

It is a roller-shaped (cylindrical) PVA sponge.

Water can be absorbed continuously by crimping and rotating the workpiece.

Since it is made of a material with a tough integrated structure, it is extremely flexible and has excellent elasticity, so there is no fluff or lint that falls off, and there is no need to worry about damaging the workpiece.

There is a sponge-only type without a core, a PVC pipe, and a type glued to a supplied metal core (mainly stainless steel).

Belle-Clean

Overview

Extremely soft wet wiper that can be used with water.

Fine pores reliably catch particles and moisture, and unlike paper and fiber materials, it does not fluff or fall off, and can be recycled.

Characteristics

The soft texture when wet allows it to fit any object, and its fine pores reliably catch particles.
It has excellent water absorption and water retention, and quickly absorbs and retains moisture.

As it is made of PVFM (polyvinyl formal) resin, it does not fluff or come off like paper or fiber materials, and has excellent abrasion resistance. For these reasons, it can be reused.

There is a type that wipes off by hand and a mop type that is ideal for cleaning floors and walls.
It can be widely used not only in clean rooms but also in places where clean environmental protection is required.

Characteristics

The PVA sponge has a high affinity with microorganisms, and has a continuous pore structure and a high porosity (approximately 90%), enabling high processing efficiency as a microorganism immobilization carrier.
